\u00a0Today (March 29, 2026), CNN <\/b>reported that protests under the banner of <\/span>“No Kings”<\/b> took place simultaneously across the United States, with large numbers of people gathering in major cities, suburbs, and smaller communities to express their opposition to President Donald Trump’s policies<\/span>. <\/b>The protests spanned from the east to the west coast of the country, particularly in <\/span>California, including cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles<\/b>, which saw large numbers of participants, as well as events in Minnesota, which served as a major hub for the movement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>In Minnesota,<\/b> the city of St. Paul hosted a large event attended by politicians and public figures, including Bernie Sanders, the senior Senator from Vermont, and Ilhan Omar, an American politician of Somali descent known as one of the first Muslim women elected to the U.S. Congress and the first woman to wear a hijab in Congressional history. They delivered speeches criticizing government policies, including immigration law enforcement and the ongoing conflict with Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n
